This is, the best rock, blues, funk, soul, country amp I have ever used. I am truly gutted to have to be moving it on however currently, needs must.
This is 18 watts, all valve, hand-wired by Dr Z Amplification in California and used by some of the biggest names in rock and blues. Dr Z is all Buddy Whittington uses, Brad Paisley, Gaslight Anthem, LA Guns, it's a wide and continually growing list.
The clean sound on this amp is crystal clear for an EL84 amp, the drive is fantastic for rock and she takes pedals like nothing else.
This RRP in the UK for this pair is £1799 - the price here is no where near that so this is a real opportunity to grab a steal of an amp which will be a solid gigging amp for years to come.
The condition of this amp is probably 8 or 9/10 due to a couple of knocks on the cloth but they are only noticeable if you look closely at the amp.
Also don't think that 18 watts is quiet for an amp - I've gigged this without micing up at several pubs during the time I've had it and never needed it over about 2 or 3. Anything bigger than that and you'd be mic-ing the amp up anyway.
This is also a fantastic recording amp...! I can't say anything more good about it or else I may just change my mind!!!

So what do you get when you take the reverb out of the faithful Maz 18? You get more singing gain and less compression making it the perfect club amp for all you rock and rollers and roots music players. The Maz 18 NR has that certain old school attitude that comes alive under your fingers. You can dial in clean chimey tones or raw vintage drive. The NR delivers rich singing tones from single coils and sweet British crunch from humbuckers. Coupled with a Z Best cab, the Maz 18 NR can hang on any large club stage. The front panel features Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Master, and the ever versatile Cut control. Think of the Cut as a tone knob for the output tubes. The back panel features a 4 and 8 ohm speaker out. An effects loop is also standard. The 18 NR is powered by a pair of cathode biased EL84s, has three 12AX7s in the front end, and a 5AR4 rectifier.
